Our Nurse Practitioner, LLC was formed after years of witnessing poor patient outcomes secondary to insurance companies questioning everything we do.

For Example, a patient twists their knee and we know based on physical examination that something is torn, we order an MRI. Insurance requires us to treat you with ibuprofen and physical therapy for six weeks before we are "allowed" to order an MRI. This is just unacceptable to us. Or when our patient with pancreatic cancer needs Zofran for nausea and the insurance company sends a five page packet to us to fill out explaining what alternate medications we used and why we need this one. These are high school graduates that are calling questioning our medical decision making.

We love our patients. We accept everyone and do not judge. We treat you all like family and will stand up for your health. Whether you are in our office or if you are having trouble in the hospital. We will come visit and advocate for you.

We do not want you to cancel your insurance. Insurance is good for big things like hospital stays and emergency room visits. Think of it like car insurance. You don't get car insurance to pay for your oil changes...you need it for the big crash. If car insurance did give you oil changes...you better believe it would be the cheapest, lowest quality service ever. (Just like what primary care has turned into) Not all primaries are bad but they are hampered by big insurance to see as many people as possible otherwise they do not make nearly enough money for what they are worth. It's sad...its actually pushing many primaries to retire.
